Wide Angle Photo Club – Photographic Art Exhibition

RULES 
Photo must be matted with glass and framed OR gallery wrap (canvas) 
minimum size 16×20 (includes the mat and frame) maximum size 20×24  
Black or white mats ONLY (this is a gallery showing) 

Club members can hang their photos in the gallery for $15 per photo and $10 for each additional photo. You will be able to put a price on it for sale. Please sign up on the forum, the June 14th meeting or email us at Info@WideAnglePhotoClub.org. Bring your check or cash to the June 14th meeting or mail it to WAPC P.O. Box 10776, Pensacola, FL 32524. There is no limit of photos a member can enter.

We will hang the show on (Tuesday, June 22, 2010). Most of the time there is a function in the Wright Place during the lunch period. It works best if we hang your show between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM or between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Use brass hooks from the wooden box to hang – NO NAILS. Our club show will hang until Monday July, 19, 2010. Please remove your photos between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM or between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Please place the brass hooks back in the wooden box on the buffet.

Our information will be sent to Pensacola News Journal Weekender Art Calendar and Splash. They will also send an email to Mike Roberts, Art Writer for the Weekender. The information will be published in the church newsletter, The Witness, and the Sunday Bulletin the day of our church reception. 

Our club’s introduction to the congregation and church reception will be on Sunday, June 27, 2010. One of the ministers will introduce us during the 8:30 service. Sometimes they get started a little early and our introduction could be at the very beginning of the service. If you are late, you will miss it. The reception will follow the church service and usually last 30 to 45 minutes. (The more members that are able to attend will be appreciated and impressive).

There is a “release” form enclosed that the church wants you to sign. Please put adequate information on your photos such as the price, your name, your address and your phone number. If you charge extra for sales tax, please specify (the church does NOT deal with sales tax).

We can also have a private reception and send out postcards to our sponsors, friends, etc. GREAT Publicity. (We need 2 or 3 people to work on this so if you want to volunteer contact Cindy Schober or Marty Campbell or email Info@WideAnglePhotoClub.org)

If you would like to see the show that is presently on display, the Wright Place is open 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM Friday.
